Yoga for BJJ

thanks Anthony. My situation is surely not as bad as yours, I just would like to have an appropriate strategy for training as safe as possibile and keeping my meniscus in place as long as possible.

hey guys.

i know it's a long shot but i'll give it a try. a year ago i got an MRI after hearing a loud crack in my left knee (not training related) and it showed a partial tear (radial, not bucket handle shaped) in my medial meniscus. I already did some rehab and in everyday life it doesn't bother me at all. i even got back to squatting full range down without pops or weird feelings. ligaments are also fine. that being said, i'd love to get back on the mats but i'm afraid to fuck up my knee completely due to heavy torsion movement involved in jiu jitsu. has anybody had a similar problem? would a knee support offer real protection or nah? for some context: i'm 42 and i have a two years old kid, so i gotta choose my battles wisely. thank you.

Luca
